Information We Collect

When you register as a client, we collect your first and last name, email address, phone number, required service-communication consent, optional marketing consent, and the date your registration was submitted. You may also choose to provide your birthday month and day for client appreciation. Genetik Bleu does not request your birth year through the registration form.

If an appointment is created for you, the private salon dashboard may also contain appointment details such as the service, date, time, status, and internal salon notes related to client or appointment management.

How We Use Information

Information is used to maintain an accurate client directory, manage appointments, communicate scheduling changes, and support the salon's day-to-day client service.

Service-related communications may include appointment confirmations, reminders, schedule changes, and other important messages connected to your salon relationship.

Promotional Messages

Promotional email or text communication is optional. Choosing not to receive promotional messages does not prevent you from registering as a client or receiving service-related appointment communication. Providing a birthday does not itself subscribe you to promotional messages. If Genetik Bleu chooses to send a birthday-related promotion or client-appreciation message, it will only be sent through promotional channels you have agreed to receive.

You may ask Genetik Bleu Salon to stop promotional communications at any time by contacting the salon.

Storage and Service Providers

Website registration, client, and appointment information is stored using Google Firebase / Cloud Firestore. These technology providers process information as needed to operate the website and private salon dashboard.

Sharing and Selling Information

Genetik Bleu Salon does not sell client contact information. Information may be handled by technology or communication service providers when necessary to operate the client-management system or deliver requested salon communications.

Retention

Client and appointment records may be retained for as long as reasonably needed to maintain the salon's client directory, appointment history, business records, and communication preferences.

Your Choices

You may contact Genetik Bleu Salon to request an update to your contact information, change your promotional communication preference, or ask about information associated with your client record.

Security

The public website is not permitted to browse the private client directory. Access to client and appointment information is restricted to approved salon administrators through authenticated access.

No method of internet transmission or electronic storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure, but reasonable technical safeguards are used to limit access to salon records.

Policy Updates

This Privacy Policy may be updated as the website, booking process, communication tools, or salon services change. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when material changes are made.
